January was long and slow. I was sick with a terrible cough for most of the month and had a kid home sick a lot of days too. There were some great things that happened this month though too…
Kim and Austin came to visit so we had to get pictures with Reef…

For Christmas Kayli got to do a board and batten wall in her room and everyone ended up getting to help a bit…

During the slower part of January we worked on puzzles with our new puzzle board…

We got to babysit Reef while Kim and Austin went to the Knighs game and we loved it so much! He is so cute and so much fun! He loves playing with Rudy and the kids.

Sami started Activity Days and she is so excited about it! She has the best leaders too!

Kayli earned the Principal Honors Award for straight A’s first semester.

Beau earned Honor Roll for A’s and B’s.

The elementary kids don’t do those awards until the end of the year but Sami was recognized for being the highest Accelerated Reader in her class.

Sami and Trey went to school skate night…

Kayli’s volleyball team won their second tournament.
They also had another tournament where they payed tough teams and they won that too! They are currently undefeated and playing amazing volleyball! I absolutely love watching them!

That same weekend, Beau’s hockey team played in an amazing tournament. Their games were tough and so much fun. They beat some really good teams. Beau is playing so well and scored lots of goals and had assists. He is so much fun to watch! They made it to the championship game and in a super exciting game that came down to the final seconds, we ended up losing which was so sad but the games were so incredible that it was such a good weekend of hockey and volleyball!

Lindsay and I are coaching Beau’s volleyball team and having a lot of fun with that. They are playing up an age division and have only lost one game!

Sami dressed up as a 100 year-old for the 100th day of school!

Love when I get pictures of the kids at school…

Sami was so excited to finally have Rose and Brielle over to play.

We bought a new sectional which meant huge boxes for the kids to play in and they made some awesome forts!

We dog sat Ginger while Kelsi and her family were gone. It went pretty well!

Temple trip with cousins…

We bought a new sectional which mean three huge cardboard boxes for the kids to build houses with…

Daddy-Daughter Dance at school…

Another tournament win and still undefeated!

UNLV basketball game…

Bike track fun…

Kayli had high school orientation. I’m not sure how we got to this this point already but we are excited for this school and all the opportunities there.

Valentine’s Day fun…

We ended our first season with the Cheez-Its and even playing up an age division these boys went 6-1. They only lost their very first game and we wish we could rematch now! They were incredibly entertaining to watch. They learned a lot but really kept us laughing at the same time.

Geocaching has become a new hobby for these kids!

Hiking Lone Mountain…

A few more…
