We went to Utah for the Fourth of July this year! I had never been to the hot air balloon festival and even though we didn’t get to see the balloons fly it was still cool to see the balloons. It was fun to be there with lots of my family and my kids had a blast with Kyle’s kids! They played together a lot of over the few days we we were there. Loved being at the parade too!

More playing with cousins… Kayli loved all of her little second cousins! Sami and Lyla had a blast playing together and Beckham loved Trey and Beau! We also love going to see Grandma!

We bought Sami’s baptism dress while we were in Utah and so when we got home we put her in my baptism dress that my Grandma Varney made for me.

Trey’s 10th Birthday!

Trey wanted to go to Cowabunga Bay for his birthday and we took Madden and Beck but as an extra surprise Taylor came with us since he was in town!

Also saw How to Train Your Dragon with the Eliason family!

We went down to San Diego for a very quick trip to see the Poulsens, go to the beach and get family and baptism pictures done!

Kayli went to BYU volleyball camp and had a blast. She roomed with Eden but knew lots of girls from Vegas there.

My 40th birthday… Kayli was at volleyball camp but left me this fun present. It was a relaxing day with eating out and a hockey tournament!

Hockey tournament… Beau and Bennett and a few other kids we know actually joined in with a Utah team for the tournament. They placed 2nd. Beau, Bennett and Noah are the three little ones. They are so little moving up to U14!

Kayli had a blast at ward Girl’s Camp. They did so many fun outdoorsy things! Some of these pictures she took with a camera and had to get the film developed late… like I used to have to do! She thought that was kind of fun!

Kenny and I and McCormicks and Cahills snuck away for a very short beach trip to Newport to celebrate my 40th. I loved that our hotel was right on the water and we could walk along the beach or ride bikes in the mornings. We also ate very well!

Beau got braces on!
