March and April

Reading Week dress up days…

Kayli’s team went to St. George for a tournament and won the whole thing! The semi-final and championship games were incredibly stressful but exciting to watch! It’s been so fun to see this team do so well. They are a great group of girls with awesome coaches and families! We really enjoyed our time with the team and families and even got to go to the St. George temple! The other kids stayed with Lindsay and had fun playing with cousins!

We got snow on a random Thursday in March here in Vegas!

For Spring Break we decided to stay mostly in town but did sneak away for a day trip to St. George (well me and three of the kids went).

The rest of Spring Break was spent mostly hanging out with Kim and Reef while they were in town. We also watched lots of March Madness and rode the Boulder City Train.

We went and saw the Hoover Dam and Grandma Taylor’s grave..

We celebrated Kenny’s 42nd birthday!

We saw Snow White with cousins (we loved it!)

Beau’s hockey team had playoffs and they made it all the way to the Championship game! Their league games were so much fun to watch this season since they were in the top tier playing other top tier teams. All the teams were great and getting to the Championship was pretty cool. After an exciting game we ended up losing 3-2 that was stressful but exciting to the very end. We had a very sad Beau afterwards but got him to kind of smile for a picture.

Another awesome volleyball tournament. The girls experienced their first loss of the season… to our boys’ club team which seemed unfair and we barely lost! It was a such a fun game though to watch these girls do so well!

Red Rock Rave Tournament!

Easter! We loved experiencing the Walk With Jesus exhibit that our stake was a part of!

Take Your Kid to Work Day! Kayli got to come with me to Bozarth while I subbed in Kindergarten. She had a blast and it was so fun for me too! The other three love going with Kenny and Tingey Law Firm makes it such a fun day for the kids!

Bozarth asked if Kayli could come back and help with Field Day which she very much wanted to do! she got to help run the dunk station and then come to help me in Kinder between sessions which was very helpful on Field Day!

Some fun activity days things…

The final tournament for Kayli’s club team… we should have won the whole thing. These girls barely lost in the championship game to a team they had beat the night before. It was still a super fun tournament and they are so fun to watch! It was pretty devastating to come up just short when it was for the gold medal!
