Kayli’s Salt Lake tournament was a fun girls trip! All the moms went and we had fun having lunch and shopping after games. We even walked around Temple Square and went to a movie. It wasn’t the girls’ best tournament but so fun to hang out in Salt Lake!
Kenny and the kids were busy back home with games, movies, and Beau’s first high school hockey league game.

Trey earned the Great American Award and got to receive his award from the Mayor at City Hall…
Trey worked really hard to be ready for the living wax museum. He learned all about Steve Irwin and did a great job reciting his speech! I loved it!
Kayli’s team had three tournaments in May and at Emperor’s Cup they won the silver division!
Mother’s Day… it was Trey’s idea to get my bike fixed which was a fun surprise!
The Student Council Banquet was fun because as Freshmen Class President Kayli got to announce all of the Freshmen awards. She did such a great job this year as President. She decided next year not to run for anything. She will take it easy and then go for something her Junior year.
Field Day…
Trey finished up a flag football season and a volleyball season where he really excelled at both! He was jump serving in volleyball and if he got set would hit the ball over. In football he was getting touchdowns, interceptions and pulled lots of flag. Both teams were a lot of fun.
Sami’s award ceremony for winning the Accelerated Reader Award in her class…
5th Grade Graduation… Trey earned the Principal’s Honor Roll Award which is really hard to do in elementary school at Somerset. He had to have all 3s in every subject area for every standard! That’s harder than just earning straight A’s.
Right after that we had 8th Grade Graduation for Beau. He earned Honor Roll and I just can’t believe he is off to High School…
Kayli’s very stressful end of the year English project that Trey and I helped out on allllll night…
Last day of school… 8th graders wore shirts representing the high school they will attend.
We headed to Long Beach for Memorial Day weekend for Kayli’s last volleyball tournament of the season. They won the silver bracket!
Kayli got her learner’s permit!
Kayli and Beau started Arbor View Student Council the first week of summer. Beau loved it!
First days of summer…
I got to go to Girls Camp with Kayli! We didn’t have enough leaders who could go and so got to go as a leader with the girls!
Josh and Mandy were in town for a work conference so Kenny and I met up with them for dinner and a magic show on the Strip!
Beau’s high school hockey team isn’t very good… but Beau has done awesome!
Kayli worked 10 hours catering a wedding and they loved her so she probably scored some more opportunities. I got a picture dropping her off is all…
We’ve done lots with Kim and Reef while they have been in town..
Beau and Kenny went to LA for Beau’s final club volleyball tournament.
Kenny and Beau drove home on Father’s Day but we left Kenny cards and a poster…
